As our team grows, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our dedicated workforce.

Role Overview:

As Compliance Officer, you will support the organisation in maintaining regulatory excellence and ensuring that all aspects of our operations meet statutory, legal, and safeguarding requirements. This role is ideal for someone passionate about compliance, with a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of governance in early years education.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to meet Ofsted, EYFS, and health & safety regulations.

•⁠ ⁠Monitor staff DBS checks, right-to-work documentation, and safeguarding protocols.

•⁠ ⁠Support the GDPR compliance framework, ensuring secure and lawful handling of personal data.

•⁠ ⁠Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews of internal systems.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare compliance reports and assist during external inspections and audits.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain well-organised records of training, incidents, and risk assessments.

•⁠ ⁠Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure prompt adaptation across the organisation.

•⁠ ⁠Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high standards.

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠Experience in a compliance, safeguarding, or regulatory role (ideally within education or childcare).

•⁠ ⁠Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

•⁠ ⁠Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
